Woman charged with Sexually Abusing Boy
Christy Lynn Jaski, 42

Wilmington, North Carolina – A Wilmington woman was arrested Monday on charges of indecent liberties and felony child abuse.

Christy Lynn Jaski, 42, of Jeb Stuart Drive, has been charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and one count of felony child abuse-sexual act, according to court records.

Jaski is charged with a “lewd and lascivious act upon the body” of a 14-year-old boy, according to an arrest warrant. The abuse allegedly occurred between Dec. 1, 2014, and Jan. 8, according to the warrant.

The Wilmington Police Department is investigating the case. Jaski knew the teen, police spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay said.

Jaski made her first appearance Tuesday in New Hanover County District Court, where she waived court-appointed counsel. District Judge Jeffrey E. Noecker ordered that Jaski have no contact with the victim or any minor children. She is permitted to see her biological children with Department of Social Services supervision, Noecker ruled.

Jaski was released from the New Hanover County jail on a $100,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to make her next appearance in New Hanover County District Court on March 5.

  1. I personally know Christy and her husband and I know that these charges must be malicious lies. No one in this world is perfect, but Christy comes very close. She is a devoted mother and wife. She and her husband have dedicated themselves to the promotion of adoption in order to provide safe and loving homes for children. I know that it is easy to jump to conclusions, but I would encourage those who would rush to judgement to remember that in this country we are innocent until proven guilty. Just the suggestion of sex crimes against children has the potential to ruin lives. This is a precious woman who has done so much good for the community and definitely does not deserve this defamation of her character.

    1. Angie, I can only imagine the world you live in, because it is surely not the world we wake-up in everyday.
While I agree that no one in this world is perfect, I am only human, although not prone to judging anyone, but I do question the fact that Christy is very close to perfect.
As for jumping to conclusions, the fact that Christy is charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and one count of felony child abuse-sexual act and out on $100,000 bond, sounds like the authorities aren’t convinced she is any where near perfect.
As for the world in which you live, I suggest you hire a private investigator because your friend is going to need it. If your friend is indeed innocent, then your world is not nearly so perfect as you think, because it would suggest Christy stepped on the wrong toes.
Just so you know, I used the words “your world is not nearly so perfect as you think”, for the simple reason that although our laws say we are innocent until proven guilty, quiet the opposite is more true.

      1. Angie said she KNOWS the woman, and finds the accusation likely lies.
YOU say you BELIEVE the woman’s guilt, based on the details provided in an article.
Having seen AND experienced personally the wrath of the system on FALSELY accused people, I am VERY qualified to JUDGE which of you two has a right to post a comment and which should keep her uninformed opinion to herself.
I have far greater respect for and faith in ANGIE’s assessment than YOURS, and anyone endorsing your view. You and your ilk presume to be qualified to level charges without seeing ANY of the presumed evidence. For fuchs-sake I hope you NEVER serve on a jury or hold any position of authority.

      2. Personally, I don’t think you have the intelligence to understand anything over 4 letter words, but I am going to post your “Deductive Reasoning”.
I wouldn’t trust you to judge a spelling bee between pre-schoolers, since it is very evident that either you cannot read, or dope has fried what little brain you ever had, and now you can’t concentrate long enough to read past the first sentence.
Now, if you go back and actually read what Our Senior Editor wrote, you might finally realize how big of an idiot you look in front of all these people.
AND, I just can’t help but prove my initial accessment of you:
On April 6, 2015, this woman was indicted on three counts of felony indecent liberties with a child.
Lastly, for you and anyone else that opens mouth before you engage your brain, we don’t sit around and dream up these stories. BUT IF YOU COME HERE, AND OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO CONCERN AS TO THE WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN, YOU ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE.

Although you might have doubts, I have just posted on your Baltimore Post, without knowing you just posted here.
As I stated, I have the desire to know how you know and have seen what so many are blinded to.
