Another daycare worker arrested in
Child Abuse probe

Dothan, AL  –  A daycare worker was arrested Monday on child abuse charges involving an ongoing investigation of an Abbeville daycare.

Police Chief Noel Vanlandingham confirmed Dixie Lane was taken into custody.  He said Lane is the person seen in the video of a child being punished that went viral.

The owner of J&M daycare, 71-year old Mary Clark, was arrested last week on similar charges.

The childcare center is now closed.

Vanlandingham said more information will be released later Monday.
