Major Pro-Life Victory: Supreme Court upholds Texas law stopping abortions

A baby’s heartbeat can be detected by transvaginal ultrasound as early as 3 to 4 weeks after conception, or 5 to 6 weeks after the first day of the last menstrual period. This early embryonic heartbeat is fast, often about 160-180 beats per minutes, twice as fast as us adults’!

The United States Supreme Court has ruled on a life-giving decision that will potentially save thousands of unborn babies in Texas.

By a 5-4 vote, the Court said Texas’ law prohibiting abortions once a medical professional detects a heartbeat will stand.  Read the full story from American Family News here.

Advocates for killing babies had filed an emergency appeal asking the Court to block enforcement of the law that went into effect yesterday.  Chief Justice John Roberts voted with the liberal members of the Court to keep abortions going in Texas.

The law, SB8, was passed by the Texas legislature and signed into law by Gov. Greg Abbott on May 19.

This is a huge day for the pro-life movement and I ask you to join me in thanking God for this wonderful victory.

Sincerely,
Tim Wildmon, President

    1. Hello LadyBug65Blog, Tracy, I am Robert, and we highly value your input here!!!!
I also am so happy this happened!!!!
It is a very odd thing how anyone can call this anything but MURDER. Also what difference does it make if they can not hear the heartbeat yet, it is still murder.
Cold blooded murder of a defenseless Child.
Tracy Blackburn, you have made your place here, and each time you return you will find your place waiting.
      Sincerely,

  2. Good on Texas. Roe-v-Wade was bad law,as States should regulate their own health laws.

    1. My Dear Friend, I appreciate your input, and in fact it is highly valued here.
Roe vs Wade was a load of BS as we all know.
      How can MURDER be legal????
I will do my best to call you today!!!!
      Sincerely,
      Robert

  3. Hello Robert

Thank you very much. I had heard elsewhere about it, but of course it is excellent news.

I have just read a previous post of yours ‘Good Bye You Are No Longer Welcome In My Home’ Apr 2, 2019 (comments closed), so I thought it might be useful to say this here.

I have realised for a little while that when Jesus talks about the stars falling from the skies, he was primarily referring to celebrities who we call ‘Stars’. I say ‘we’, although I prefer the word pillocks for many of them!

So these stars who wrote the letter against the bill have fallen. One can see from their backgrounds why this is so. From a brief check one can see at least some childhood or young adult abuse in some form, and the ethnic/religious backgrounds of those listed is worth noting.

I double checked the original Greek in the New Testament. Here is a link to biblehub.com

The phoenetic spelling is ‘as-tare’. This suggests to me the wheat and the tares as in the parable. I think it says it all.

    Yours Baldmichael
