Fraud Alert: Scammers Claiming to be
OAG Crime Victim Services Attempting
to Defraud Texans

AUSTIN, TX  –  Attorney General Ken Paxton today warned Texans about reported scam callers falsely claiming to be members of the OAG’s Crime Victim Services Division and attempting to obtain personal and financial information from members of the public.

The fraudulent callers are attempting to obtain personal identifying information from the call recipient and ask for money transfers or bank details after baselessly claiming the call recipient’s social security number has been compromised.

The callers are using local numbers and sometimes provide a false “case number” during the call.

The true OAG Crime Victim Services phone number is toll-free 1-800-983-9933 and local number 512-936-1200.

The OAG warns Texans against providing any personal information, such as social security or banking numbers, over the phone with anyone claiming to be from the Crime Victim Services Division, and encourages anyone who receives a fraudulent or scam call to report it to the OAG’s Consumer Protection Division by calling the Consumer Protection Hotline toll-free at 1-800-621-0508 or filing a complaint online .

Animal -A Man That Hits a Woman and a child

.jpg photo of domestic violence graphicI saw this and it made my blood boil, but there was no way that I could resist sharing this.  We are at a point in time on this earth where there is quiet a few people that thinks it’s cool, or acceptable, to terrorize and/or hurt the weakest members of society.  I’m talking about our Elders, women, or children.

You know the funny thing is that actually, there is no animal on this earth that just inflicts pain on another creature just to terrorize , in fact all I know of only hunt and kill just for food.  So if I would have put that H1 up there, I would have said “Lower Than A Gutless Sewer Rat”.

How can anyone think it is funny to Bully someone until they consider suicide????  Well I want you to know that I don’t turn my head away, and from what I can see from this other good man named Robert, who just happens to be from Australia, and he’s the writer of this post that I shared, I don’t much think he likes it too much for people to hurt women, children, or our elders.

I think you get my meaning, so at this time I’m proud to introduce Mr. ROBERT SHERRIFF, who really is from Australia,

Hypocrite’s Oath: Over Paid And Above The Law

Video shows nurses laughing as dying WWII vet calls for help

Hidden camera footage recently made public revealed a decorated World War II veteran died after fighting for air while a pair of nurses laughed in front of him.

James Dempsey on Feb. 27, 2014, repeatedly called out to staff members at Northeast Atlanta Health and Rehabilitation before he fell unconscious, gasping for air all the while.

Nursing home staff found him unresponsive just before 5:30 a.m. and it took them nearly an hour to call 911, according to state records obtained by WXIA.

Dempsey’s family, who sued the facility in 2014, declined to comment, citing a settlement with the nursing home.

Former nursing supervisor Wanda Nuckles testified during the trial that she rushed to the 89-year-old veteran’s room when she learned he’d stopped breathing and performed chest compressions until help arrived.

Nuckles did not know she’d been filmed at the time and the clip directly contradicts her account, which she said was just “an honest mistake.”

Instead, the footage shows nursing staff repeatedly start and stop Dempsey’s chest compressions.

When the responding nurses struggled to get Dempsey’s oxygen machine to start, Nuckles can be heard laughing with them in the background.

“Ma’am was there something funny at the time?”  Mike Prieto, the attorney for Dempsey’s family, questioned.

She responded: “I can’t even remember all that, as you can see.”

Retired nursing professor Elaine Harris identified several violations, including failure to respond, failure to assess and failure to act.

“In 43 years of nursing, I have never seen such disregard for human life in a health care setting,” she told the news station.

Attorneys representing the Atlanta nursing home attempted to block WXIA from releasing the footage, but in the end dropped its appeal with the Georgia State Supreme Court.

Both Nuckles and another nurse were fired, but not until nearly a year after the incident.  And they only just turned in their licenses in September — nearly three years after Dempsey’s death.

A spokesperson for the Georgia Board of Nursing could not confirm when the state became aware of the video, but the board’s action did come on the heels of receiving a link to the video.

A spokesperson for the nursing home, owned by Sava Senior Care, in a statement wrote they were “saddened by the events which occurred three years ago” before going on to note it has “new leadership and the leadership team and the staff have worked very diligently to improve quality care and the quality of life for our residents.”

Where Were You

America The Beautiful

September 11, 2001

I will never forget….

We were working at Raytheon, of all places, and the week had started well.  But then every day started well, but none had ever ended the way that day did….

Although a year and a half before when I sat with my Niece and Mother at that 15+foot conference table filled with medical professionals, and they continued to counsel me with their understanding looks and consoling words, and even asking permission to go to a first name basis, as they continued to return to their “evidence” that my Son was no longer alive.  I should let these important people go to help others, that were living human beings.

That day, like this day, I realized those “Medical Professionals” were not the “Good Guys”, wearing white hats, and certainly not Friends of The Lone Ranger, just like these evil humans that did this evil thing to Our Friends and Neighbors.  Which in turn, cost us more than even that, so many of Our Protectors that would never walk in their door after work….

What is wrong with people.

How can anyone delight in seeing, much less hurting someone.

The day was Tuesday, and it was a great day.  At least until the guards were suddenly there, with LOADED M-16s no less….

After a while they brought us a television, and our day went to hell in a handbasket, as we watched Our America The Beautiful as she was attacked.

Later, they asked if we would like to go home to be with Our Families, and everyone of us had seen that these guys who were Our Friends never looked away from that television, just like us, except to cover when tears would begin to fall as rain.  So, it was easy to say “ah we might be able to get a little work in later”, which startled them for only a second, and then we cried together.

But I do know one thing for sure, because we all said it that day:

“I BLEED RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!!!!”

Needed – Good People And Good Neighbors

Your Child Needs You, Before It’s Too Late.

Good Parents and Good People are defined
by Values Not Race

We are going to do a short series on “Your Child Needs You”, but this is also an attempt to get everyone’s attention who believes in a set of basic values they were raised by, and would never consider stepping over the line on one of these values.

Children deserve a good set of parents, who will supervise and protect them at all times, however, there is no way one man and one woman can so this for 18 years.

We have a responsibility to every Child in this world, which is not being taken seriously.

If you are the type individual that can turn your eyes away from anyone being mistreated, hurt, or Bullyed, then you are NOT who I am talking to, because you have already stepped over the line on the values I hold dear and near to my heart.

Today, when you are out and around, focus on the big picture.  Be aware of what is happening all around you, and DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL LAW ENFORCEMENT, if needed.
