Innocence

Implanting Indifference in Children’s Hearts

I can’t remember ever being in the wrong place at the wrong time.  This post is the first of it’s kind from this Editor, totally off the top of my head.  I can only imagine the look on the face of a certain man who writes with 2 instruments, a rapier and a 2-handed sword (wouldn’t you know it, he has a new friend that has the same style).

I was very prepared for this post early this morning, but I trusted my feelings (I had a teacher who looked as if I had thrown cold water on him,  when I said these words for the first time, he calmly set his rapier aside and said “You win, I’ll teach you Latin”).  The more research I did, the angrier I got, so here we are, shall we begin.

What are the virtues of a Good Parent?  One who accidentally gives their child a dose of morphine?  A parent who disciplines their young child by making her stand outside in the cold for 2 hours?  A parent whose babysitter is a hot car in summer temperatures?  A parent that believes drugs ruined America, and molests his children at night?  Or the lenient parents who let the child run wild, who now has an STD at a very young age? Or perhaps one of these: habitual liar, drinks alcohol, cusses every 4 words, uses drugs, violent, or somewhere down the road you find out your siblings are all dead…  Murdered Before They Were BORN.

I found something wrong with every site I selected for their “input” on virtues of a good parent, with the exception of maybe 2.  I Do Not believe in whipping a child like an animal (I purposely used these words..  I WILL warn you that if a certain person sees you mistreating an animal, you will never do it again), although if a child is given a rule from the the first moment they begin walking, like when they come in the kitchen while a meal is being prepared, and go to the hot cook stove.  If you are a wise parent, this will be an early rule, “no-no sweetheart hot hot, burn my Baby”;  sooner or later, if this continues to the point where you just got on this child for doing something else wrong, and you see the child out of the corner of your eye, glance at you and head straight for that stove, it’s action time.  What happens here is the beginning of making a spoiled brat, or a child who follows house rules, and GOD’S rules, Honor your Father and Mother..

It is NOT Good Parenting for a child to see or hear it’s parents do or say any of the above, nor see their parents do vile things.  No One on this Earth is completely innocent, but a child is as close as it gets, and it is WRONG to take this away from them.  I saw the statement “1 in 3 women will have an abortion in their lifetime”, then I noticed there is a “1 in 3 Campaign” which is a project of ADVOCATES FOR YOUTH?  Furthermore, their motto is “Rights, Respect, Responsibility?  These people are teaching Children that MURDER is OK.  I have got 1 thing to say to “ADVOCATES FOR YOUTH”, and anyone who takes the innocence of a Child.  If you believe in doing this to a Child, while you are teaching them INDIFFERENCE, teach them another language: De corde enim exeunt cogitationes malae, homicidia, adulteria, fornicationes, furta, falsa testimonia, blasphemiae:   Haec sunt, quae coinquinant hominem. Non lotis autem manibus manducare, non coinquinat hominem.

Teen Pimps Children

Teenager who ran Canadian prostitution ring jailed2014-11-04-TeenPimpsChildren-1

A teenage girl was jailed for six-and-a-half years Tuesday for drugging and beating girls as young as 13 into prostitution in Canada’s capital Ottawa after luring them through social media. The 18-year-old ring leader was only 15 when she was arrested along with two other girls in 2012.

She had faced a maximum sentence of three years under Canadian law for youths, but prosecutors took the rare step of asking that she be sentenced as an adult, which carries a much higher penalty.  One of her accomplices was previously sentenced to three years in prison while the other is still awaiting sentencing.

Acting on their own without adult guidance, the girls used social media to lure victims to a suburban Ottawa home where they would be encouraged or forced to take drugs, and then delivered up to adult clients. If they refused, they were threatened with violence and blackmail.
One victim was forced kicking and screaming into a man’s car at a gas station. She escaped but was quickly caught and dragged back. Another’s clothes were ripped off in the basement of a house and she was photographed naked.

The youngest victim’s mother dropped off her daughter at the home of one of the accused for a sleepover. The girl returned home distraught the next day, wearing makeup, heels and a trench coat that didn’t belong to her.

The court heard that one of the accused would send photographs of a new recruit to prospective men from her cellphone, and if they agreed, she would send the girl by taxi to the man’s home to sell sex. Police eventually broke up the prostitution ring in June 2012 after one of the victims complained to her mother, who informed authorities.

Paying back for what I was freely given

Nothing in life is Free, especially Knowledge

I know everyone of us has heard, at some point in their life, someone saying “I worked for EVERYTHING I got“, “NOBODY ever gave me anything“, or especially this one “Get out and buy your own self a car, nobody ever gave me nothing unless I earned it“.

I can remember the look on his face as he told the story; I know there had to be a smile on my face, because Frank was smiling.  I look at Frank everyday, and everyday he smiles at me, just like He did, so long ago.  ” .…and it was cold, I mean REAL cold.  You can’t imagine day after day being cold, so cold you hurt, then there’s the nights”.

I never knew many good men, until I was 17;  “….finally our winter uniforms and gear caught up to us.”  I can still see his face, smiling, always smiling at his boys.  One thing never changed my whole life, make that 2, I always knew My Dad was the Best Man I ever knew.

I can’t imagine anyone hurting a Child, that has never happened around me and Frank but maybe 2 times since I was 17.  I also can’t imagine anyone gutless enough to say something bad to an Elder.  Today, in this dog eat dog, what’s wrong is right and what’s right is wrong world we’re living in, all that matters is I, I, I, or me, me, me.  All of a sudden we got hundreds of thousands of self proclaimed sages pontificating proudly from behind their computers “it’s that homophobic mouse’s fault, HE named the Redskins”….

The bottom line is, people are playing knockout with Our Parents and GrandParents. They are being robbed as they come out of the supermarket; bones are being broken as they punch and kick the ones who used to give us caramel apples on Halloween.  How can you not hear the call for help;  someone, anyone, Help Please….

7-year-old left out

Harrisburg Pa, woman arrested for Child Endangerment

West Shore Regional police have arrested a Harrisburg woman after she left her 7-year-old girl outside in the 45 degree cold for 2 hours without any adult supervision.

Shanette Williams, 29, is being charged with child endangerment after police say on Friday neighbors reported seeing the girl standing outside of a home along Poplar Street in Wormleysburg.

The neighbors took the little girl inside so she could warm up and called police.

Williams showed up after police were called and admitted to leaving the child. Williams was taken to the Cumberland County Prison but is now out on bail.

Incest in Alabama

Teen’s disappearance helps reveal Alabama sex ring

BAY MINETTE, Ala. — By most accounts, 19-year-old Brittney Wood was with uncle Donnie Holland the night of May 30, 2012, the last time anyone saw her. Holland — who was under investigation for horrific sex crimes at the time — died from a bullet within days in what was ruled a suicide.

The investigation that followed has publicly unraveled what authorities describe as a dark, twisted tale of perversion in the working-class neighborhoods and piney backwoods of coastal Alabama. Eight of Woods’ adult relatives and three family friends have been charged with dozens of felonies in two counties as the alleged members of an incestuous ring that authorities say shared children for group sex. Holland was the leader, prosecutors say, of what has been described as the largest sex ring ever uncovered in Alabama. Wood was a victim and likely key witness.

Wood is presumed dead, but authorities haven’t found a trace of her and no one is charged in her disappearance. Even without Wood to testify, two of her uncles and an older brother already have pleaded guilty to sex charges, and jurors this month convicted a friend of Holland’s of multiple sex charges in the first trial. Others — including the missing teen’s mother, Chessie Wood, and two aunts — await trial.

Chessie Wood, accused of having sex with a young female relative, said she had no idea what was going on in the family until after her daughter’s disappearance. “The No. 1 thing here is to find Brittney. The No. 2 thing is to get all these sick (people) off the streets,” she said

Perhaps the most troubling question is why didn’t child welfare workers pursue charges following what prosecutors describe as multiple complaints about sexual abuse within the family going back at least six years? “You’d be surprised how many of them had prior allegations. Nothing happened,” said Heinz, an assistant district attorney in Baldwin County. “You have to wonder what wouldn’t have happened to these children if something had been done. And Brittney might still be alive.”

The case is so big officials don’t know exactly how many kids inside and outside the family might have been victimized; estimates range from 11 to 16 children who were as young as 3 or 4 when they were first molested or made to watch adult relatives during drug-fueled orgies. The children of the suspects have all been placed in foster care or with relatives who weren’t involved in the crimes.

Authorities believe group sex and child sexual abuse went on for three generations in two families that merged when Holland married Wendy Wood, Chessie Woods’ sister. “Donnie was the manager. He’d say, ‘I’ve got this child and this adult, come on over,'” said Mobile County Assistant District Attorney Nicki Patterson.

Brittney Wood, meanwhile, led a life that was troubled long before folks on the Alabama coast came to know her smile because of missing persons fliers posted in store windows and shared on social media. The single mother of a daughter born when she was 17, Wood was molested as a child by a step-grandfather who went to prison for the crime, said Patterson. Before she went missing, Patterson said, Wood was using drugs and had a gun for personal protection while bouncing between relatives’ homes; others often cared for her daughter.

A relative reported Holland for allegedly abusing one of the family girls in February 2012, authorities said, and word spread through the clan. Private Facebook messages provided to The Associated Press by Stephanie Hanke, Brittney Wood’s stepmother, show that a female relative informed Wood about being raped by three male relatives on May 27, just three days before Wood vanished.

After Holland died, relatives and police wondered about Wood. “We didn’t even realize she was missing until after they found him shot,” said Hanke.  Searches for the teen began and the sex abuse probe picked up, too. Two of Woods’s uncles, Dustin Kent and Scott Wood, were arrested within three weeks and later pleaded guilty to rape and sodomy. Aunts and family friends were eventually charged.

This month, family friend Billy Brownlee, 50, was convicted in Baldwin County on charges of sexually abusing a girl in the Holland family when she was about 12. Brownlee claimed Donnie Holland forced him into the acts against his will, but jurors needed only 20 minutes to return a guilty verdict.

Donnie Holland’s 35-year-old wife, Wendy, is set for trial in early December in what could be a key prosecution. Court records show she has pleaded not guilty, and Heinz said she shows no interest in a plea agreement.

Still, authorities wonder how child sexual abuse could go on for years between so many people without anyone being charged until 2012. One girl accused an uncle of sexually abusing her as early as 2008, Heinz said, but welfare workers found the complaint unsubstantiated. “You look at these reports and wonder, ‘Why? How did it not go anywhere?'” said Heinz.
